Mary and Steve, oh how it was amazing working with them!
Mary is the sweetest, She is smart and she will let you know what she wants. I love that. Her and Steve like to do outdoor activities. During our engagement session they were excellent at walking (or should i say hiking) at the Starved Rock state park. This is where i initially started to really know the couple and the first time i ever met Steve.
Steve is definitely more quiet, and Mary is more outgoing so they balance each other out really well! I also just LOVE Mary’s smile. You will see it a lot in the photos. Her smile is so genuine and beautiful, it made me smile editing the pictures!
The wedding day was held in Ottawa IL. We started off at the Comfort Inn hotel for our getting ready location. This is where I took the bride getting ready photos and bridesmaids. Then the ceremony was at St Columba Church. The architecture of this building was gorgeous! Then we did portraits across the street at the Reddick Mansion. Talk about a STUNNING spot to take pictures! I just love mansions and architecture so this was perfect. I LOVED everything about this location. The Reception took place at the Pitstick Pavillion. It was a nice place with a little pond outside on a really big property.
Overall it was a gorgeous day! Filled with the sweetest and fun people. Congrats to the new Mr & Mrs Smith! Thank you for allowing me to capture this amazing day.
